ALLENDALE – Ryan Kelley, Republican Candidate for Governor, says that the Michigan Legislature should withhold funding from LARA (MI Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs) and the Dept of AG, unless licenses are returned to restaurants and other businesses, due to extreme COVID penalties.

Ryan wants to see all charges dropped and fines refunded immediately.

“There are many business owners statewide, that I have spoken with, that have lost liquor licenses and in some cases, the ability to operate. What is happening in our state is not right, and we need to stand in support of our small business owners,” says Kelley.

Kelley encourages the people of Michigan to join him in speaking up against the tyranny and injustice that is being inflicted on the hardworking citizens of our great state. Governor Whitmer’s unconstitutional mandates have caused the people of Michigan to suffer immensely.

Ryan vows, as governor, that he will allow business owners to operate their businesses freely.

“As the 50th Governor of Michigan, I will pardon any business owner such as Marlena Pavlos-Hackney from Marlena’s Bistro and Pizzeria in Holland, Michigan, that may still be facing these unconstitutional penalties.”
