As stated in the Declaration of Independence, 1776:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”
As stated in the 1963 Michigan Constitution:
Article I §1 Political Power | “All political power is inherent in the people.”
Therefore, the people of the state of Michigan, declare and mandate, that our state and federal government be subject to the people of Michigan, and be instituted with the core purpose of upholding and protecting the unalienable God-given rights enumerated in the constitution of the state of Michigan and the constitution of the United States of America.
Any law, order, regulation or any other action or intent to violate the people’s rights, shall be deemed unenforceable and shall be disregarded.
